What is the Talent Quest?

In spring 2007 we began the quest for the newest public radio talent. Anyone could submit a two-minute audio entry demonstrating "hostiness."

After four rounds and 1,400+ entries from all over the country, three winners were chosen and given $10,000 each to develop pilots: Al Letson of Jacksonville, Glynn Washington of Oakland, Calif., and Rebecca Watson of Boston. Watch the announcement.

We are thrilled to announce that CPB will fund both Al Letson and Glynn Washington! Each of them will receive a year's worth of funding to produce new episodes of their shows.
