As a public radio reporter, you have great perspective on the medium's weaknesses, but this piece really makes the most of its strengths. Pulling for you from Dallas - CC

Wow! That was incredible. It grabbed and held me and made me think.

I ALWAYS feel like I need to know the background on the news stories I hear. Excellent idea! dme

Yo - VERY cool. I'm all ears. You've got the pipes and the smarts and the 'tude.

Did you notice - the music is the E minor Chopin prelude, re-scored for 20's jazz ensemble. ALSO very cool.

Very professional, easy to picture that as a short on NPR, great soundFX and tunes (love me some Caribou).
I would definitely listen to a show like that!

I'm happy I found you- while once again finding myself irresistibly drawn to this site. I'll be bleery-eyed at work tomorrow, but it was worth it to hear a talent such as yours!
Best of Luck. Hope to hear more of you in round two.

Your concept is the same thing I was thinking about. If you make it to the end, I'll be listening. If I make it to the end, I will be giving you a call. Good luck.

(By the way, what is the music under your story? I have heard it before but can't recall where it came from.)

dj barr: thanks for the comment...the first music was the band Caribou. The second was Don Byron's Charley's Prelude.

Thanks also to everyone else for the kind comments!

Good luck!

DY-NO-MITE! This is terrific work. Thanks for the "moerk moerk moerk" flashback, too.

no, I meant five stars.

I've known this about Nobel. I wonder if anyone would turn down a Nobel peace prize because of the merchant of death connection.

Some Nobel peace prize winners only got the prize because they agreed to stop killing. I guess that's a kind of peace....

Oh, well.

Best of luck to you.
