A visit to the library

I go to the downtown library in Austin, TX, live music capital of the world, and describe the returned books waiting to be shelved, which ones I like and why, what some titles remind me of, what kind of people would read such trash, etc.

I am a third-generation born in Texas native and have many beloved relatives in the Austin area, but I take issue with Austin as self-proclaimed "live music capital of the world." Having lived and traveled world-wide, I think this brand of Texas pride needs to be played down a bit in the interest of greater diplomacy and global understanding. That said, you have a nice voice and an interesting subject. Good luck!

The claim of live music capital of the world was based on something, once upon a time. When the city council first passed the resolution, there was a statistic they based it on. I think it was number of live music venues or something like that.

That said, I do think it's emminently mockable.

The premise was so good I just had to stop and listen, even though I am trying to avoid distractions at the moment. Then I just got swept along.

Your voice, the clip, it's all surprisingly enticing. You think you're having a decent time and then before you know it, you're desperate for it not to end.

I've got to figure out the restaurant now and next time I'm in my local branch, Yarborough, I'll be checking out the returns.

Very clever clip for the quest.

I looked up librarys. I love librarys. An interesting history!
