This is a program that recalls famous stories from the past that have been forgotten in this modern age.

Wonderful job in getting it all in, in under two minutes, the intro, the story itself, the music. And what a voice.
Did you hear the story about the .....
Good luck

to the tune of Stairway to Heaven. It's one of those pat your head rub your belly tricks.

Even if you can't, I give you many stars. Oh and can you get me one of those grants?

Gilligan's Island is better. Much, much better.

You could read anything and people would listen! Nice deadpan delivery of something totally ridiculous. Your voice reminds me of Dick Estelle, who reads books on WKAR in East Lansing, Michigan. (He's gotta be ready to retire. He's been doing it since I was a little kid.)

I missed the cues, and it was probably for the best. What a setup! Very funny.

You succeeded. This is funny. By stealth.

Let me say you have tremendous hosting skills and good production. The premise I really love but since I already know that was Gillian's Island, is this suppose to be satire, a hoax, or something bigger? The premise is there but don't alienate the public radio audience who are expecting something different.

This was supposed to be simple comedy. The phony sponsors set it up. The first spells out c.o.m.e.d.y, the second, l.a.u.g.h. The third is a reference to the Mary Ann or Ginger debate obscurely referenced in the piece. I guess the set-up was less noticed than I hoped. I'm glad you liked the premise and the delivery. I hope this helps to explain what my goal was.

That was great! So few of these have successfully been funny. Congratulations.

Wow! You make that sound like a reading of some 18th century classic. Now you totally have me thinking of all those gems of a bygone era. Love, exciting and new... Come on! Knock on my door!... This is story about a man named Jeb (or was it Jed?) Your voice has a great cutting quality to it too, which makes the reading unique and memorable.
