Angst Italian Style

An independent producer making a radio series, "The Other Italy", cannot decide if the interviews are more interesting then the escapades she encounters while tracking down subjects. Join her for the twists and turns of this dilemma in the Italian Alps as she searches for former WWII partisans.

What a delightful and refreshing voice we have discovered. This is charming and innovative, creative and entertaining. I do hope it is on public radio stations many times, and all over. Discovering Italy for me is great, and this fits right in. Grazie!

Laura has a beautiful voice for the radio. I laughed out loud about the search for Roberto, who had just left.
The subject is very interesting to me, and I would definitely like to hear the interview with the partisans.

You sound just like someone I would want to listen to if I was listening to someone. Someone else said that they would like to have dinner with you. I would too. Maybe we can all have dinner together. Or lunch. Maybe you can do a show about having lunch with us. Or dinner.

Yes, Laura has a wonderful voice and an intriguing quest that simply makes for great radio. Really want to hear the rest of the story ...

What a phenomenal concept for a program;research a soon-to-be extinct population while providing a commentary on modern life and one's adventures. Sounds like this program would be a great historical piece and travel documentary all in one!

...but I would stick with a real show, with rare digressions into the "making of" when it really adds to the story. In this case it did, but I don't think an entire series about the "making of" anything would be compelling.

That said, give this woman a radio show! Great voice and humor, and a natural story-telling talent.

Wow, you've packed a lot of action--and a lot of fun--into two minutes. Nicely done!

¡Fabuloso! So engaging and fun -- I found myself part of the hunt for Roberto as well. Can't wait to hear more.

I enjoyed the segment; it's very engrossing. I look forward to the next one.

Definitely should be a two part series. The journey is as interesting as the subject. Especially in Italy. Laura is a natural storyteller. Looking forward to hearing more.

Your exciting, suspenseful tale of searching for Roberto reminded me of how pivotal journey is to destination--proving frequently as rewarding!
And so I think that the two could be fused into one very entertaining, engaging and enlightening narrative that I look forward to hearing very soon..

Laura, you have the perfect voice for radio, and the concept, which we had already heard about last summer, is developing very nicely. Keep up the good work, and good luck -- you deserve it!

Tough choice on the radio concept..maybe you can combine the two. I think people would be interested in both "how" you tracked down your guest and "what" happened when you reached them.

You do have a great voice for radio. I enjoyed listening.

And you're right, we;ll have to have the show, and then the show about the show. All wrapped up in one. Nice work Laura, you sound very naturally hosty.

You sound fantastic...no problem there.

I just got confused with your ending. You start by wondering out loud if you should make the show (a), or a show about making the show (b), and then at the end you speak of a third show called Can You Believe This? (c). I have no idea which show you want to do.

Ultimately the paradoxes of life make fools of us all. So if we would be wise we should study life's paradoxes and confront our abject foolishness head on.

Hi Steve:

Thanks for taking the time to listen to the piece. The final title refers to the program about making the show.

Did you enter a clip also?
