The Brand New You
All those little human foibles we want to remove. The constant striving for a better self. The yearning for perfection. Why do we do it, how, and is it effective? This and more is what we’ll examine on “The Brand New You,” the show that finds the beauty in the blemish.
and not in a good way (thanks for that reminder, by the way)... but the striving for self-improvement ain't something i can escape from... so a radio show about it is DEFINITELY a necccccccccccessity! so bring it on, sister! do you hear that, npr gods and goddesses?!! i is so proud of you!

Hey Judy! You have a great voice. It's a funny subject. I hope the judges thinks so too!

Cadbury should sign you on as their spokesperson *immediately*.
I want more, more eggs, more chocolate, more Judy!
I LOVED it! It was funny, engaging, easy to listen to...and I could totally relate. I want to hear this show on a regular basis!

it's a little tough envisioning what the show would be about week-to-week, but if the audition is any indication of the intelligence, humor and creativity of the show, i'm listening in.
We could almost form our own network with these great ideas... Great commentary.

Great commentary, Judy. I'd love to hear the whole show.
There you were the whole time. Just what we needed.
Great introduction. You nailed it. We are all the same in some ways. We can all relate to wanting one of those da** eggs! (Sorry, I've got a three-year old, so self censorship is automatic.) The funny thing is, they never taste as good as I remember.

I almost fell on the floor. You need a show!

Thanks! Christopher.
You are a nut. I mean that in the best possible way! Very funny, very engaging, you already sound like you're on NPR. Way to go!
in an age where few of us still practice the ritual of confessing to a mysterious man of the cloth behind a screen in some tiny gothic room, i'd welcome the weekly ritual of listening to this woman confessing to us behind a microphone in some tiny recording booth.
say six hail judys and turn up the radio!

I have to agree with the comments before me. Your delivery, your tone, your voice...all addictive. This is a great entry, and clearly, one that speaks to many people. If you wanna, check out mine at: http://www.publicradioquest.com/audio/user/5319. Best of luck to ya. Cheers.
Hi Judy, I got groceries about an hour ago and just before we left I thought, "You know what would taste good? A Cadbury Creme Egg." So to hear this story when I got home was eerie. I have baked 65 dozen sugar cookies in a single afternoon without so much as licking flour off my fingers--but my willpower is no match for those eggs. I'll probably dream about them tonight! Maureen
The way you say "Cadbury Creme Eggs" followed by the jazz sting is CLASSIC. Love your voice, love your delivery, love your production!
Full marks! Try mine!

I truly do understand your addiction, my wife and I just spent $10.00 on chocolate bunnies that were on sale for a mere ten cents a piece (that's alot of bunnies). To make matters worse, as we were loading it into the trunk - we looked at each other and simultaneously said "we need more while it's still on sale" and went directly back into the store for ten dollars more. I think it's goes without saying we would listen to a show that speaks to the addictions we all share and the guilt we all feel for not doing the, as you called them "nesses" - ah who cares the chocolate takes away the pain.
Great Job - a very comedic story all should listen to. Be sure to post it on http://www.publicradioquest.com/node/1171 so everyone can hear.
