Radio Talk and Music (A tool for healing)

This is an audio clip describing a concept for a new radio broadcast, one that would draw listeners and give them a chance to tell their stories or talk about their experiences. The show would be designed to professionally fix problems around the world, discussing a variety of topics.

In a world where justice sometimes seems like an abstract term, I appreciate your focus on justice and on extending it to those who are disenfranchised and crushed under the system. You have a very soothing voice and manner, and you sound like someone who should be in a healing profession. You sound like you've experienced some difficult times. I hope the future is brighter for you... both here in the Quest and in the world beyond.

I have been through so much, this endeavor I speak of requires an ability to see beyond just the concept but into the future where things will be changed as a result, cue, the song Changes... and I'd like to teach the world to sing.

We could begin with sharing some of your experiences or we could reveal something about my goals and why it is important to have access to real justice. We could talk about the five judges that voted against individual rights and freedom in exchange for allowing big business to be able to mistreat people through selective discrimination woman or man. The system itself can be discriminating against individuals. A complaint that is not properly investigated and prematurely dismissed is not a complaint making the offenders accountable and the violation is not prosecuted. Are dismissed records kept? Do we have a way of tracking repeat offenders? Investigations take a lot of time and imposing time limits prevents justice from being served.

Sincerely,

Gary

Speak the truth, and it shall..oh, man! Not again! I have several times found myself in positions where I have had to say (both aloud and to myself) "Why do I feel like my butt is on the line here? If Anyone has an actionable complaint, it's me!" Good luck in this and all your Quests.

That was a very interesting line I just wrote... A question that asks and condemns the real trick is to condemn the people that are not speaking the truth, exposing the corruption that exists, like five judges that were sitting on the USSC bench... It is time to remove the robes of those hurting us the public... We need to create a better society and justice for ALL...

You have a very calm and straight forward delivery which works well with your idea of talking to people about their stories and helping people through situations. Nice job on your entry!

I have a story of my own that exposes the truth and how people in high places failed to do what they should. I've met many people with similar stories and the frustration is so obvious and simple to cure.

I think everyone can relate in some way and there are many out there with a story to tell. Sometimes injustices result in absolute justice too. For example, I was devastated to learn that my ex-boyfriend of three years was having a sordid fling with one of my "best friends" while we were together. They are married to each other now. THERE IS JUSTICE!!! I thank God every day that it happened. I shudder to think it could have been me.

Definitely an important topic for this era. I like the idea of weaving poetry etc around the call in format.

I found your story of great interest but couldn't help struggling to picture how you could prevent such a talk show from becoming sort of a whining session even with the music and poetry. My belief in the law of attraction or the axiom "what goes around comes around" helps keep me from falling into the abyss over others' obnoxious behavior. Believe me, I have my own ax to grind over shoddy medical care or the lack thereof. But I hope to use whatever life I have left to make a dent on improving the system for others (even if this means exposing by name and poking fun at the particular doctors I visited.)I have nothing left to lose. How can you fix things for others when what is broken is the fact that many and even the majority of voices are silenced as people are considered to be or called whinners. The tool of opposition to shut down the thought process is to embarass a person and prevent them from filing a proper complaint, the failure of the system to accept the complaint and to act as though no complaint was ever filed is the very silencing of the majority and any complaint that isn't addressed becomes fodder for a festering infection that leads people to do drastic and even take violent action against others.

We (You and I) might be working together on parallel problems both seeking a non-violent way to effect change and not be affected by how we have been treated.

I was not treated as how I would treat others, and if I act out treating others as I've been treated I would be prosecuted and put in jail, while the bullies roam free. (Do you have a problem with being treated as a non-entity or differently?)

My cause is not about words, and labels, I'm talking about people's actions, lies and failure to do their job...

Peace and Blessings,

Sincerely,

Gary

I am telling my story so that others might experience less pain, suffering and humiliation needlessly from people who have yet to work out what's really bothering them. People project their own inner troubles by lashing out at others. I'm speaking too of my own foibles. I've caught myself behaving badly on numerous occasions. Sometimes my actions/reactions surprised even me. (Where was this coming from?) I feel like an ice sculpture melting as I write and as I read books such as The Law of Attraction, Don't Get Scrooged and How To Stay Cool, Calm and Collected. My show concept would give you a platform to expose those that have hurt you as I have also been hurt, I listened to your clip and found that you have gone through a lot, much like my own story with corruption in the system.

When we define the system we find two branches working together, Health care and Judicial. The problem is that the people who are supposed to be listening are not hearing their selective deafness is worse than the blocks or walls a teenager puts up when told to do specific chores.

Problems created that have created more problems, grinding axes together would make for a great show, and as a colaboration working with the music that is available, we could enhance or punctuate a point, and if we can't find that perfect song, I'm certain that words would be made available to enhance the message through comment or rhyme adding to reason special meanings... Memories as markers for others to avoid shining bright lights on the darkness that corrupts our universe.

Peace and Blessings,

Sincerely,

What are civil liberties and are they different than civil rights? Really they are the same thing.
When an injustice occurs how do we help people who have become the victims of abuse?
Why is telling the truth so important?
What happens when a lie is uncovered and do we continue to punish the victim of a lie by preventing the lie from being exposed?
When egregious behavior becomes a tool to disrupt and destroy an innocent person’s life what should and what can we do?
What we need is to create a safety net, with people who have experience or developed ways of dealing with the worst that life has to offer; a safety net, assisting others; who are going through similar tough times.
I would propose a new radio show and format that includes information from survivors of abuse, having a call in capacity.
A really neat format would include music, and poetry to wrap around the testimonies. This would be a show that strives to bring healing, accountability, and an understanding of how the law should be applied or interpreted.

We have many people working really hard around the world; for the sake of peace, there is no reason for hypocrisy in the system.
The government could do a lot to help the private sector if everyone would do their job.

All the tools we need are provided for us by our founding fathers in the Bill of Rights. As an American I see the value of our free market system, working with the community and providing social services. At the same time I’m very concerned about our future, and would welcome a move that reduces poverty, and provides so that everyone has an equal chance for success.
As professionals our time is just as valuable, as people practicing a craft and honing their skills. Our expertise should be shared, to help the poor; ‘they’ have a lot to contribute and should be supported and lifted up whenever possible.

Civil rights equal equality as every life is equally important.

Peace and Blessings,

Sincerely,

Gary

TheGreatWhiteBuffalo, you have a nice sounding voice, easy to listen to.

I'm not certain that joining a serious situation like abuse, in any form, with entertainment such as music and poetry will mix well. Unless you are referring to healing poetry, and music therapy.

I do think it's important for victims of abuse to speak through their own talent.

If you can reduce the nervous atmosphere, and 'hone' the content, you might do very well.

Thank you so much for you thoughts, I think the victims of abuse have needed to create and hone talents, just to tell their stories.

Many poems are sung to teach the world in very creative ways. Sometimes the song has a single line that would fit the conversation so well, sometimes the whole song compliments the testimony perfectly.
