Small Things Considered: The Reluctant Radio Host

Submitted by DulanyPeters on May 13, 2007 - 10:36am. ::

On Small Things Considered we chat with Peter Hyman, a reluctant contestant who lives in a small Brooklyn apartment. He is asked about his life, celebrities he resembles and his purported “hostiness.” There is also a nice banjo overlay.

Thanks for listening

If your voice isn't made for radio, then I don't know what is. Nice richness, clever writing, and skillful execution. Good stuff!

Very nice submission-clever self-interview, and a nice, obviously hosty voice. Good luck!

When they roll by, do you resist the urge to jump on them, just because of what they are?

You were fantastic. The top tier of self-interviewed entrants.

Of course nobody has any time to visit other submitters entries, but if you could visit mine by any chance, that would be great.

Best of luck,

Steve

Dulaney,

I am so sorry you got that from what I wrote. Really that's a shame. I had no problem with your submission in the least.

The bandwagon I was refering to me jumping on, is the Dulany Peters was a great submission bandwagon. It was meant as a compliment to the raves your submission has received.

Steve,

Take heart. I do believe the emoticon at the end of Dulaney's reply indicates he appreciates the tongue-in-cheek humor of your bandwagon comment. :)

Cute huh? I'm not sure "cute" gets you on the radio, but it beats a kick in the teeth.

Thanks
