Mechanics and Magic
You say things in such a way that I feek you are looking at them right then and there. Jade
Your vocal quality and inviting intelligence bring to mind Dick Cavett...ooh! Wasn't he a famous host? I have had some similar experiences. At a 3 Generations of Wyeth exhibit in Chicago, I was marvelling at the amazing texture of the feathers in a Jamie Wyeth painting of barnyard fowl (chickens or turkeys, I don't recall). I stepped forward for closer look. The texture was made with his thumbprint!

...I agree! Love the voice, I appreciate the way you think, and I think you're pretty hosty to boot.
Always have enjoyed the Lee vocals. Perfect for storytelling and reporting. I very much would like to see the Jazz museum now.
Another great job Lee!!
I listen to Lee on KCUR. I am happy to hear him on here. I would like to hear some good musical background to accompany the whole segment, but oddly enough he still very much kept my attention.
Very interesting.. not many people can keep my attention, but you did. :D

My Entry
For swearing just as it ended! That made me smile.
What you're talking about, that moment when suddenly an artist is revealed to you as a person rather than as a name in BOLD in a history book or on a critical analysis, happened to me just last night for some reason! I think I was listening to one of these submissions that was about classical music, and for some reason the reality of people like Haydn and Bach not being just NAMES that western music has built on top of, but rather, having been people, human beings, that struggled and loved and lost like I do day in day out really struck me!
I can totally relate, and I think your submission is great.
Good luck to you!

You're a natural for this job: Smart, witty, articulate. All the best in your quest.
This guy has really got something here! Loved the content and the deep, melodic voice of Lee.
I think I'll...just....nod off....to.......sweet.......dreamzzzzzz
After hearing several self-proclaimed talents, Lee stands far above the rest!
Though In the next round I hear you'll have to describe the mechanics and magic of Gewn Stefani.
This is exactly the type of content I want in radio.
I had a similar experience looking at sculptures by Michelangelo. You can see the actual cut marks in the stone made by his tools. Amazing. Oh, and great voice by the way!
I like the way you express yourself and would love to hear more.
I agree that you have a good voice. Solid and interesting piece. Good Luck
You've got an easy-to-listen-to voice and style. I'd tune in!
I appreciate your comments on the creative process-it is not easy for most visual artists and musicians to use alot of words to explain what they do. You could be a help with that.
Good luck on this Crazee Quest!

You've got a voice for this. I loved the content.
In the future, be sure not to discount the value of staccato speech. Short, clipped words could provide you with a different edge in a different situation. That is, I should say, if you were ever reading hard-sell news or something similar.
That said, your form in this particular recording was great.
