We need more thinking about how our cultural identity is formed. And more from hosts like Sari!

Great submission! Five stars!

Wow...that last sentence was a kicker! The subtext of this was not lost on me and I'm a gentile.

Now tell me, Groovy Hosty, if you had 4 signs at Center Camp and told people to go to the sign that they identified with, what would you title these signs and where would you put yourself?

Hmmmm????

Hmmm - I would hate to put four signs on the playa for people to choose - it's anti-bm. But, if we were to put something very open to interpretation - not concrete. I have to think about it.

That was great! I grew up Catholic and would constantly get in trouble for asking too many questions. Very well done, good personality, and great topic. Good luck to you ma'am, and hopefully, I'll see out out on the playa this year!

And now my shameless self promotion!

First of all, I loved your submission.

You tell use 4 or 5 times that you had a groovy substitute, so when you ask your final question, the only answer that seems to fit is that the sub was groovy.

Would you believe there is a sumbission that talks about people being classified as one of four different cookies? True.

Steve - really? What are the four kinds of cookies?

Submitted by Steve Stokes on May 16, 2007 - 3:47pm.

Actually that is part of the two minutes of talk... Chocolate chip is one, sugar cookies are another, and oatmeal raisin the third... but we never get to hear what the fourth would be...

I said there are probably 50 different type of cookie a person could be... but then I am a deep thinking philosopher.

Speaking of which, I hope you get to know me better... via my submission and ... well shall we call it presence?
