Wellness Wave in America

Submitted by Tania Wildbill on April 16, 2007 - 12:17am. ::

Wellness Wave in America will explore the yearning that the United States has to seek moments of stillness and quiet amidst the chaos of our lives. This show will provide tools to go within, slow down, and experience, if even just for a moment, stillness.

Great topic! People need to slow down more and smell the roses. If inclined, my audio has a slightly different take on health and wellness. http://www.publicradioquest.com/audio/user/6076

There are many paths to healing, while this is one, there are others for both physical and emotional healing.

Peace and Blessings,

Like some other commenters, I wanted to know more about the content of the show. I'm intrigued by the thought of a weekly show that gives me a chance to slow down and de-stress.

I really enjoyed the content and the fact that she sounded very upbeat and conversational, like I could listen to her for a while.

The downside is it sounded like it was recorded in her bathroom. Hmmm...perhaps that means she needs a radio gig to develop her show...

Having the audience take a breath gets them interacting and draws them in. Great idea! Your personality seems open and inviting.

Hey there,

Enjoyed hearing your voice. Felt like I could listen to it for longer than two minutes - and your story idea is interesting. BUT, I would have loved to hear more about you will help folks "slow down" i.e. what is it about your show that is going to make me, as a listener, let go?

I'm not sure if this helpful since you've already posted, but if you are considering this topic as a show, it may help.

Good luck!

didn't really give me enough details on your show - interviews? visualizations? Also, found the intro dialogue a touch boring. Felt it got better when you went more with the ad-lib at the end, your personality came through more.

I would love to listen to a radio segment on this topic. Nice and authentic voice and a topic that is needed.

Neat idea for a show.

But for this snippet you submitted, you're talking too fast. I got a small chuckle when you said people need to slow down.

The positive is that that can be easily fixed!

That's the sort of thing I like listening to.

I think you've hit on the right amount of enthusiasm in your voice.
(if you'd just come out of a deep, deep yoga moment your voice would be too low and deep for us, right? and you avoid preachiness with a little of your own interesting story.)
thanks for the breathing moment! this has got to fit in somewhere.
