Man, this is why I really miss hearing you on WFPK! You're not just a wealth of information, your sound is real and genuine and very trustworthy in terms of the trivia you're presenting. You sound like a good friend in my living room (which, essentially you are), just turning me on to lots of cool stuff with a lot of knowledge but without the snobbery.
PS - I always read the thank-yous in the liner notes, too, but my memory just isn't as good as yours! You can also learn a lot from the names musicians choose for their publishing!

I loved hearing the actual clips from your show--great style, and really interesting information, touched with a sense of humor. You're less dynamic when you're describing yourself, but that's OK--you won't be doing that on your show, you'll be DJ'ing, which you're really good at. Good luck! I'd like to hear more.

This could be me saying this! Isn't it like a curse sometimes!? When you're talking to people and you expect they know what you know about liner notes or who produced what? Sometimes that can be frustrating when you realize not only does no one else retain it, but not many music fans mind about that sort of thing too much! Oh well, I guess that's what being a geek IS all about, right?
