Wednesday Night Dinner Intro

Submitted by Doryan on May 14, 2007 - 4:51pm. ::

We've developed a great community combining live music and food. I hope to someday get my co-star involved, but that'll have to wait. Our dinner parties have turned into a catering and charity fund-raising business, and we'd like to extend it to a show with a national audience!

i could wake up to the gentle cooing of his voice every morning or smile my way home to the dulcet tones of his drive-time-radio. NPR would be damn fools to let him escape their non-profit clutches! -}{-hail eris -}{-

This program is going to sizzle on air! I think the concept is fantastic, and I can't wait for you to cook bacon on air and make everyone all over America drool!

Wednesday is also known as "Hump Day". With music, food, and a night party, I'm sure the name is appropo for your proposed occassion. Good idea. Now if there is ever Sweet Potatoes, Pot Roast and corn muffins on the menu, please send me an invite!
Good luck to you on this quest.

I don't know why no one has thought of this before but if you ask me, it's pure genius. And that song...it's so catchy I found myself humming it in my sleep. Great job!

Congrats on this great thing you've created. Around the Quest site, it's joked that I have an evil twin, (I don't), but apparently I do have a musical twin down in Texas.

Your piece makes me feel inspired to do something similar. I can just see it - Wednesday Night Diner sweeps the nation. That would be fun.

A lot of food shows talk about the way food brings people together, but you've captured that feeling so clearly in this. I'm not generally a fan of food shows, but I'd listen to this - especially the music aspect. Nice job, and good luck!
