What's Up! Kids Get Candid About Guns

This is an upbeat talk show focusing on issues that face kids in their teens and twenties. I plan to use new technology to engage as many young people as possible on their home turf, the Internet and their cell phone.

This presentation grabs you and pulls you right in. I hope to see this show dive deep into other topics as well.

Clear and well thought out topic and presentation. Very interesting and entertaining. Nice job!

One of those voices that feels comfortable and familiar, yet rich enough to be singularly identifiable. I'd be a regular listener. Best of luck here and elsewhere.

One of the better approaches to a youth-oriented program I've heard. Your presence carries it. You're shrewd. You're neither removed from your subject matter nor so steeped in youth culture you alienate listeners not in that demographic.

Great concept for the demographic. Good interviews. I loved your voice, your tone and your production.

Good work.

then remembered that you wouldn't be back. Well, at least not without passing along to round 2. This is the programming I want to hear. Nt because of the topic, but because your subjects were raw and real...there weren't any radicals or folks who are just 'fascinated" with urban culture and patronize these type of topics and interviewees.

I would listen Stasia.
All best to you on this quest!

As a longtime radio producer myself, I am truly impressed by crisp, concise, polished presentation presented in this sample. It left me wanting more, which is what we all strive for in radio production.

As a freelance journalist, all of your comments mean so much. I currently seek solace and courage when visiting this page. Thank you. Peace, Stasia.

Good energy there Stasia. Sounds like you really have a handle on this. I thought your content was well organized, and the subject matter was important and timely. Not just for Philadelphia but as a national issue. Involving the young folk is exactly what NPR has been alleging they wanted to do for years now. Using widely used current communication technology methods, this is clearly a possible vehicle that could take advantage of that. Good Luck!

Stasia, I've been pretty stingy with my 5-star votes, but you got one because you have a great idea that public radio definitely needs-- intelligent questions and answers from young people on topics that affect us all. Best of luck!
