The Retributionist

Retribution, includes 'tribute'. It is not revenge, punishment, torture, or doing Anything to Anyone. It is seeing a link between oneself and another. It is seeing deep into the other person--seeing what they are best capable of at their most noble--then ripping it out and showing it to them.

Oh, I love this topic, and your delivery was very entertaining.

My ex-boyfriend ended up marrying one of my ex-"best friends" whom he was sleeping with while we were together. Now THAT's retribution. I wonder if she's sick of the white rabbit treatment yet. Hee hee hee hee hee hee.

Fascinating entry. I had to give it a second listen.

"It's just hard to do more to people than what they're already doing to themselves."

Think of all the energy wasted on hatred that could be saved if that concept took root. You don't need to hang people. They'll do it all by themselves.

Go viral, Matt.

I find your entry extraordinary. I'm fascinated and would love to know in what special field of endeavor you earned your PhD?

Your piece is funny, helpful and kind of creepy at the same time. I like the mysterious nature of your host persona. I was left thinking, what is wrong with this guy? And what kind of retribution has he exacted in his own life?

Good luck.

To get a good feel for your view of things. I was with you up until your comment about not being able to do worse to people than they do to themselves. But then I lost your perspective with the bottle of wine. I wanted to hear more and try and get a handle on it.

All comments are helpful and deeply appreciated. If I do the contest again I'll work better explicating my views.
