The Mathematics of Good Stories

The two minute promo for my proposed show "The Mathematics of Good Stories" focuses on how overcoming fears adds greatly to the enjoyment of life. I discuss how skydiving on my brother's 40th birthday changed the way I saw the world (and not just because of the height).

The mathematics of bad ideas, what a brilliant line! I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. Nice work. I hope you go on to produce a show like this. I would definitely listen to you.

The title is a bit off-putting (and I'm a former math textbook editor and teacher, among other things), but when I listened, I liked your story and the simple equation:

bad idea + survival = good story

Thanks for sharing, and for making this Talent Quest work.
