The Best of Both Worlds: NPR and AM Talk
NPR is about issues. AM talk is about hosts. NPR can attract some AM audience with a host-driven program of issues-oriented conversation AND the water-cooler talk that’s part of American life. That’s what I’ve worked toward for 10 years on WHRV and what I’d like to do for NPR.
I hear where you're coming from. I'd listen Your fellow contestant Jade.
Totally pro. 5 stars.

Please stop by!
That AM Radio is a format whose world could be described as having a "best", but nonetheless, you have an EXcellent radio voice, very polished, and your presentation here is made both slickly and fervently. I have a feeling it will catch the ear of the judges!
Good luck to you!

"All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy" - Spike Milligan
Let me say great voice for radio and very engaging towards the audience. By your background, you know how to play the game and let me say your format does fit public radio. Just ask Terri Gross, Diane Rehm, and Kojo. The only problem is not you, the, the format or other people. The question remains if there's another talk show that can fit in with all these talent. I say, it doesn't hurt to have too much.
You are obviously a pro. Great on-air presence. I probably would listen to you, though I'd disagree a tad that there isn't enough pop on public radio. I think they do a pretty good job mixing public policy with popular culture. But, then again, I already love public radio, so I don't think I fit into the listener group you're looking to recruit. Overall, this is a really good entry.
