Pledge Drive Tips in 45 seconds...

Submitted by ywaring on May 14, 2007 - 10:48pm. ::

Found out about the contest, literally last minute--b/c out of the country.

Had 10 minutes to compile 2 minutes of tape, and ended up with 45 seconds.

Hope you like cliffhangers...

Let me go. Let me go. So that I can be the only one to vote for me. You were great. I sounded like a leaky motorboat plowing through pudding. I hereby withdraw my entry forthwith.

Good luck. You are funny. And good.

I think the 45 seconds you managed to get up really work well! Of course it would have been nice to have the clip how you wanted it, but having it end with the hostages bit is really funny! Especially when joined with the way you deliver it, too. It's a bit of a What The?!? moment and then it ends.

You did get in just under the wire! Better too short than...
Hostages? Have you ever read The Ransom of Red Chief?

C'mon, don't just SPAM people with the same comment. That's just not cricket. At least take the time to listen to these nice people's submissions and tell them something helpful!

I like your sense of humor. I wanted more when it ended. Why so short?
