Just Curious Why There Isn't A Leaderboard For User Points

I'm just interested, because User Points seem to feature large in the FAQs and such, and the rules for the Affiliate Points seem harder to find in detail, but the Affiliate Points seem to be the focus? Web traffic and advertising buttons? I'd just love a little athletic clarification. But then, my head's all addled on computer glitches and Pavement, so I'm in a nasty mood...
