COMEDY TONITE! (Funniest Entries?)

Submitted by BugRadio on May 17, 2007 - 1:23am. ::

Hey there,

I submitted an entry that was odd and humorous on purpose, because the show I am creating is a comedy. Now I'm wondering how many other entries are comedic.

So, which entries are the most hilarious? Which are from people who plan to make comedies? If you have one or have heard one, please reply here, I'd like to check it out.

To get us started, here's the link to my entry: http://www.publicradioquest.com/audio/user/440
...and here is an entry from these guys who left a nice comment and gave me the idea to seek out other funny pieces: http://www.publicradioquest.com/audio/user/6976

Thanks, and good luck!

I'm a pretty big fan of this one...the vampire and tap dancing bits are fantastic:

Well, I don't know about funniest, but here are a few comments from other listeners ... “she's vulnerable, literary, layered and hilarious” “Too funny! More!” “I thought it was hilarious.”

May I highly recommend "I'm Curious" which asks the burning question what is the difference between courage and chutzpah.

I've been writing humor books for about 8 years. "The Baby Boomers Guide to Menopause" (and the spinoff 6 book series, the "Baby Boomers Mini-Field Guides", Nightengale Press) Jonathan Winters and Jayne Meadows both wrote testimonals for that one.

I am now just finishing my next humor book about being in rehab (physical not drugs) well, not to start with. I went in a paraplegic and limped out with a decided preference for my morphine IV drip with a booster pump.

Check out my spot (which is the new "Pick me I'll be your best friend.")

Mine is supposed to be humorous, but if you are looking for comedy, this one is a stand-up act.
