Underneath it All
Even before I heard of this contest, I practiced being The Next Great Public Radio Host. I like to look for interesting subjects that you may not hear about and talk to people doing extraordinary things. Is it wrong that I love to find out more about people, their lives and the world around us?
Hi,
Your show comes under the umbrella of Sustainability, and I wanted to keep in touch with you.
No matter who wins, lets all of us eco-green Sustainable folks stick together, and lobby NPR for our kind of show.

Great radio voice, smooth and warm and such a smart and lovely writing style. It comes across so naturally and (no pun intended) organically, as if you're telling us what you know without trying to impress anyone or sound fancy.
Great job!

I love your work! Complete disclosure...I am a MollyKolly fan from her earlier work...but this is GOOD!
No comparison! This girl rocks! Her warmth and sincerity shine through. Nice Job!!
Great job, Molls. You keep surprising me with all your various talents.
Totally professional, I am in awe...
:)
Great voice, superb use of music, and a very timely topic. I think that the warmth of the voice and the enthusiasm, the humor, and the ability to talk about a serious topic definitely makes this a first class entry.

Fantastic Molly!!!!
You have come so far in just a few months and you sound like you have been doing radio for years. I am so proud of you!
Most excellent, great voice and genuine warmth, the audio accompaniment flowed smoothly within the piece.
Two thumbs up!
Fabulous voice, modulation, concept, content, and delivery. Makes me want more. Five stars, 'cause I couldn't give you ten :)

Keep on rockin' in the free world.
some superlatives. Your voice is delicious, your heart is pure, and your hostiness glitters.

It falls to the enlightened, and the intelligent and the sane to take responsibility for the deluded or doltish or insane.
Well done and it appears that Chicago has the same style "recycling" program as Phoenix AZ. In other words....BAD.
You rock and great job.
Perfect entry, Molls! I'm so proud of you. Your interviews are always interesting and entertaining... not to mention your musical talents! I gave you the 5 star rating! Hugs, sistah!
Hey, what an awesome entry!
I really enjoyed this! From your upfront "wannabe" declaration to a much-needed story about the garbage problem (not to mention the schizm between "green city" labeling and the fact that we have NO RELIABLE RECYCLING PROGRAM!), I was Chi-riveted!
A nice entry. Fun, informative, and related to Chicago! The three things I look for!
Good luck to you. Try mine?

It was pretty interesting looking into what chicago is doing to be considered the "Greenest City in the Nation". They are doing some interesting things like roof top gardens, offering grants for solar panels and getting people to bike to work. But without a proper recycling program, it only makes regular Chicagoans laugh when they hear this claim. When I went to the greenfest and talked with people at the City's booth, they said they had a lot of people complaining about the Blue Bag program. Well, Ward 37 will be the first ones in the fall to get the Blue Carts, so I suppose the rest of us might see real recycling sometime in the next decade. Though there is still the question of will the garbage actually be sorted sent on to be recycled?
Glad you were able to join the party. You have great energy and a very upbeat delivery. My one observation is that when you segued into a clip of your podcast interview, the energy level dropped in that segment; it made me wish you'd just stuck with sharing more of who you are, because you fill up the speakers and then some.
