Here is a teaser for a show I'd like to host that mixes guest interviews with feature stories direct from the international barrios of style.

Love the idea and the delivery...great voice!

and...I have my own hair cut blues story, or rather, stories. Includes a layered fiasco that had me wearing a headband or cap for several months!

This story is actually a short version of something I recorded a while ago for Day to Day -- the pub radio show in LA.

Worth hanging in for...

Truth: It's not a very promising beginning. Something as visual as fashion on the radio? Awww...

But then your story kicks in, and you tell it really well, with some very professional-sounding sound cues. By the end of the piece, I was totally with you. Great!

Thanks for your comments. Re: a fashion/beauty zine on the radio. I do think it is all in HOW you do it. After all, radio IS a very visual medium because you're creating pictures in peoples' heads.

Ideally, this radio/audio podcast would also have a website (as they all do) where you could have pix and video too.

Glad you like the story -- I meant to add in my blurb that the music is India Arie's "I am not my Hair"
