Izzi, Everyone Else, Please Maintain An Archive of the Round One Entries
I bet I am not the only one that would appreciate an archive of the round one entries and the comments. Sure I will probably print out my comments for a reminder, but I would be saddened if everyone's entries disappeared after they weren't chosen. For some people (not me), especially the people that are new to audio, this may be the only copy that was saved, so their audio might disappear entirely. I think that the entries, and their place on the website, are enormously important to a lot of PRTQ aspirants.
I know that is a lot of data to store, but that's just my 2 cents.

I would really like to be able to access an archive, as well. Are the comments on our entries going to be deleted, and when? (my printer's broken. do I really have to go to kinko's right now?) I'd also like a coffee mug, a refrigerator sticker, a temporary tattoo... oh, and a t-shirt, that reads :I entered the Public Radio Talent Quest and all I got ... heh. nevermind.

I certainly hope that we'll still be to leave comments after the voting booth is closed. There are so many I still haven't heard, and would like to be able to give feedback after 11:59 P.M. tonight. Do we know if we'll still be able to?
Yeah, it sort of feels like the last day of camp leaving good buddies you've made. You'd think there would be marketing and networking potential for keeping accessible Round One contact info, the audios and comments much like entries to This I Believe. I see book potential here, as well, although it might have to be reworked into more meaningful categories -- put into perspective so to speak. -Doctorblue

They should have an archive of each round, as it progresses.
It's not like it could get *more* complicated to navigate this site, anyway.
-(;o)~
Would it be possible, I wonder, to reproduce the entries on CD? and make them available for purchase? It could add to the coffers of PRTQ and PRX, and give us all the option to keep these entries, somehow.

That's a good idea. I might buy one and I'm broke. It would be like getting published or something. Considering the numbers of us that will go no farther, it would be like a trophy or a ribbon. Also then I might be able to hear them all. Can all of you feel the site slowing down as we get toward midnight? I wonder how they will shut down the voting? Will we still be able to listen, even if we can't vote?
