Forum or blog?

You know, I've always been confused at the difference between forums and blogs. You can comment on blogs, though I guess you can't create new conversations. And what does "stay on topic" mean? I'm the topic of this forum. And most of you don't know me. So, I guess here you can comment on my blog posts (though you can also do that on the blog) and comment on my entry (though you can also do THAT on the blog) and comment on whatever you like (though...)

Have a good comment. Perhaps I should think of some questions to ask. Hmm... I'm too tired. I'll think of some tomorrow.

I guess I am commenting on your blog. The blog has also been a confusing point for me. Is it a diary? Are the questions rhetorical? Is it a give and take or just give? All that aside, I believe blogs are primarily for nosy people who want to glimpse into other peoples lives. In a way, blogging has become the internets reality TV. So to add substance to the blog, I will give you some ideas on which to ponder.....things I have thought about over the years....Where did the word porch originate? How many Planters cheese balls can one person fit in there mouth? If Jesus was the only person without sin how the heck did the Pope become infallible? Why do we use the word tolerance to describe race relations..think about it...if I am just tolerateing you.. that does not seem like such a good thing. Ponder on!
