welcome to the PRTQ BAR....
what'yll have?

ps. our "bar" is always stocked with your favorite beverage! and we never close!

Submitted by RFrohlich on September 28, 2007 - 2:24pm.

I can't decide what the proper drink is to celebrate the end of this thing...

Something raw like a shot of bourbon?

Calm and Simple like a glass of wine...

Traditional like a Gin Martini, stirred with an extra olive

Down to earth and relaxing like a beer

Sophisticated like some champagne...

or wild and crazy like an Agent Orange?

Or just gimme all of them and I'll figure it out in the morning.

rich

I have some of the homemade "special" brew, I made up out here in the shed!
take a swig of that! its good for any occasion!

Submitted by RFrohlich on October 1, 2007 - 1:37pm.

What's the worst that could happen?

might feel better

Submitted by RFrohlich on October 1, 2007 - 1:46pm.

speaking of which - better gimme a double.

Or would that give me double-double vision?

Submitted by chadbullock on October 1, 2007 - 1:47pm.

just drink to taste.....

Submitted by RFrohlich on October 1, 2007 - 2:05pm.

taste... that I can drink to that.

Although I've heard from a number of folks - they claim they don't necessarily drink for the taste of it.

They must have some other ulterior motive...

Submitted by chadbullock on October 1, 2007 - 2:16pm.

maybe? but a good buzz is just a bi-product!

Submitted by RFrohlich on October 1, 2007 - 3:21pm.

Then I'll take a mason jar....

(assuming no masons were harmed in the production of that jar)

Submitted by Janean on August 15, 2007 - 6:23pm.

Ooh, you've got my favorite :-)
Hi all, finally got rid of a trojan virus that was killing anything Java-related. I can see the PRTQ pages again! So, um, mind if I pull up a chair?

Make that, "one for the air".

Submitted by chadbullock on August 6, 2007 - 1:25pm.

from the contestants on round 3!
this proves to be the most difficult to judge this time around....once again I raise my glass to you all!

I have this odd feeling... almost Rockwell-esque, that everyone's a winner. Call it the post-nuptial afterglow.

Champagne all around!!!! it's on me.

Cheers!

why not, its a good a time as any...right?

Submitted by Theresa Bakker on July 17, 2007 - 7:32pm.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I have lots of juicy reading to keep me busy for awhile. I'm loving the new, verbose PRTQ. I hope everyone's doing well. Who's up for an interview?

Submitted by chadbullock on July 18, 2007 - 7:38am.

you may have to edit allot of what I say though ; )

Submitted by Theresa Bakker on July 19, 2007 - 5:48pm.

Don't get me started.
That's where the real interview is. After you cut away all the primping and posturing, the safety zone stuff. I'm always amazed at how a few hours on CoolEdit can make that 30-minute mumbling, bumbling mess feel crisp and clean.

Submitted by chadbullock on July 17, 2007 - 8:26am.

hows life here in PRTQ world? we got a new pool table in today...any one up for a game of 9 ball?

Submitted by TracyT37 on July 17, 2007 - 8:51am.

9-ball and follow that with a trick shot competiton.

Submitted by chadbullock on July 17, 2007 - 9:00am.

me to break out my good cue huh?

Submitted by wheattoast on July 13, 2007 - 8:01pm.

Chad, I know you're concerned about my drinking, and yes I am staring down a frosty hefeweizen at the moment (okay, my second pint), but it was a hard day of car repair (failed starter on my "new" car) and all sorts of other vexations.

Submitted by Jim Barfuss on July 13, 2007 - 8:12pm.

Chris, I think you could rightly call it a failed start on your new "car".

Submitted by wheattoast on July 13, 2007 - 8:18pm.

No, Jim, this is a real four wheeler. After extensive calculating I determined that the scooter just wasn't going to be able to pull a U-Haul trailer to Montreal.

Submitted by Jim Barfuss on July 13, 2007 - 8:31pm.

a schadenfreudig car dealer, no doubt.

Submitted by RFrohlich on July 13, 2007 - 2:17pm.

I was thinking - On your typical reality show - once a person is voted off, you hear a few words on what they thought - how they hated or enjoyed it - what they learned. (along with a deeply solemn underscore)

Despite not hearing anything from them (or a deeply solemn underscore), please join me in raising a glass to all those who made it to round two and especially to the three who just left us.

You did good kids... you definitely had something if you made it this far. Remember that what happened when your photo grayed is not necessarily failure - - - it's what you do next that will define your true success.

If you are or know Bee, Carrie or Komal please share (or encourage them to share) the thoughts on the experience.

Prost!!
