Including an Affiliate ID as Part of the URL

I do have one question. If I want to send people directly to the page about fundraising:

http://www.publicradioquest.com/node/2542/

is there a way to include our affiliate id as part of the url?

Would something like this work:

http://www.publicradioquest.com/node/2542?aff=4544
