Komal in the Boston Globe

Today's Boston Globe has a nice feature on Komal Trivedi, Round 1 Talent Quest finalist.

BRIGHTON -- Fueled by a cup of hot chai, Komal Trivedi is blasting out bhangra beats from a claustrophobic basement radio studio at Boston College. The disc jockey likes her music loud, so loud that the bass booming from the two large speakers above her head sounds as if it could burst her eardrums at any moment.

Congrats Komal!

Very cool, Komal. Great article and companion audio interview. And if South Asian music is taking off anywhere like South Asian theatre is, then you've got a great ride ahead of you. Very fun stuff.

Awww, Jake, thanks for putting this up!
Yeah, I am chuffed about this article, and I hope people enjoy reading it. The studio looks allot bigger in this pic! I won't even begin to tell you what the photographer had to do to get this!

Okay, I haven't been on the TQ site for a while so I gotta go check things out and see whats happening.
Rock On to everyone!

I definitely jumped when I saw the angle of that picture. I've spent way too much time in that space to know how ridiculous it is to get around the corners of that studio!

Way to go, and what a cute pic, to boot. :D Good to see you're still rocking it.
