Update on free Easy MP3 Sound Recorder download

People who are inclined to skim only the first lines of these items should be sure in this case to review my disclaimers at the end. Yeah, I'm a coward.

Last night, on another message board, I wrote that I tested a software package, Easy MP3 Sound Recorder by Shiyi Software, that I downloaded for free at Download.com. The page is:

I can now report that this thing works. The entry I created with it is now floating around on this site somewhere. However, the software contains a potential trap for technological newbies: a pull-down menu called "Audio Bitrate." I recorded several drafts of my piece with this item set at 320 bps; but during my upload attempt, an error message informed me that this should have been set at 128 bps or less. I had to re-record my piece at 128 bps to get it successfully uploaded.

Ah, well. Practice makes perfect. Many thanks to the contest sponsors for the chance to learn something new while showing off a bit.
