What do you do when your co-host or guest is funnier and more provocative than you are? Keep things moving and continue to set them up!

That was pretty good. It really showed how the straight man is needed for these types of shows. the comic relief might be fun to have, but the straight man will alway be appreciated for who he is. Rock on!

I managed to catch your show a few times when it was broadcast following Sound Opinions on Saturday nights, and I enjoyed it up to a point. Your co-host is a kind of special idiot, not unlike Sound Opinions' Jim DeRogatis, which is both irritating and amusing. I like your entry here, because you have a wonderfully steady and polished voice for radio, but is it telling that some 30+ seconds of YOUR entry are given over to HIS best bits? I'm not saying anything, but it IS curious. I think you have enough talent to shine on your own right, and I hope the judges agree, if only so you can have a clip tape that's all you, and not him writing off Dario Argento (like that's even worth doing?! Its FUN and cheesy, not serious for god's sake)!
Again, a great voice and a good personality shine through here. Good luck to you! Try mine?

In 1816, the koala was given its scientific name, phascolarctos cinereus, meaning 'ash grey pouched bear'. European settlers identified the koala as a source of fur to trade, and millions of koalas were shot for their pelts.

Adam, yours has been the only entry that literally made me LOL as I realized how skillfully you turned your predicament into a win-win submission. I have been the kind of co-host you describe - the one that over-entertains. And possibly feeling ashamed of my trying too hard in the past, I submitted something to this contest so low-key that my own 'Adam' (the co-host of a radio show we once did together) - gently suggested it was not me and not upbeat enough.

You did a great job with this piece, and I voted accordingly. Round two needs someone like you.

This was very cool--very clever. You have a really nice voice, a valid point, and a well produced piece. From this I WOULD say you'd make a fine host.
