Trading Dreams

Our show idea about how the Almighty Dollar can knock you off the path to your dreams. The idea is to interview people who have stuck to their dream and others who would like to pursue theirs but haven’t quite gotten up the courage. Could this be the beginning of a new dream for us? We hope so.

Very good concept...
perhaps it could also cover those who did pursue their dreams... without sufficient success to make it lifelong, but "kept the faith" for, oh, say 10 or more years?
Holds interest well; natural style.

The dream has been denied constantly over decades, but I won't stop till it happens. Good show and great idea.

I really liked the opening, actually. Intended or not, it startled me -- in a good way -- into paying attention.

I was a little confused about whether she was a guest or a co-host [I assumed a guest, too], but the idea seems really strong to me.

Nice work.

Seems like the idea has potential. SOoooo many people could share their experiences with this topic.

Seems like the idea has endless potential for self-absorbed musings about HOW I DID IT! The reality is that no one gets anywhere alone. Everyone, whether they are prepared to admit it or not, owes their success to their teachers, role models, collaborators, and co-workers, spouses or SOs, and of course, luck. How many times can you hear this (film, food, music, investment banking, whatever) without changing the station?

Bad edit in the first few seconds.
Lost interest after that...

I think there's a good concept for a show in here, but it's hidden a bit in the delivery and recording. I was thrown off by the beginning.

This one started off with a bit of a stumble--the host seemed to be stammering at the very beginning but he improved as the clip went along. he has good voice modulation and a promising topic. I didn't like the part where he cut in and answered the question for his guest.

Thanks for the comments, but actually she is not my guest, we are co-hosts. At least, that's how we would like to do the show, with a conversational style, not a perfect, announcer type style. We want the show to sound intimate, like you're listening in to interesting conversations, about how others are trying to follow their dreams and the impediments they are overcoming. Also, people could call in asking for advice, and talking about the impediments they are facing to follow their dream life.
