Between Fresh Air and Car Talk. Not that they are even remotely the same type of program--but I enjoy them both so much.

Yes, Radio Lab! The best.

Radio Lab is a limited run series on WNYC featuring the voices of Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich pondering such topics as the meaning of time, how bodies conceive of physical space, and human morality from an evolutionary perspective. A very good show and one of my current favorites. (Thankfully, it's available as a podcast for those of us outside the NYC area.)

Radio Lab is the best--it came to my attention in February, and I think it's the new wave. Dare I even say it, Radio Lab has become more entertaining than This American Life---but maybe I've just been itching for a new format, and Radio Lab does it well.

I think what I really like about it is the give and take, conversational tone. I tried to do something similar with an episode of my own show, coaxing my usually-behind-the-scenes coproducer to come on with me and it was a lot harder than we thought it would be to get that natural flow. It just made me respect the Radio Lab dudes even more.

My favorite show is "The Sound of Young America" which can be downloaded at www.maximumfun.org.

"RadioLab" is conspicuously missing. It's surely a work of art (and science).

My absolute favorite is "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me". I podcast it and laugh my way to work every Tuesday morning.

Car Talk is a close second. (Sorry Click and Clack).

I don't see:

Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me.

You Don't Say.

From the Top.

This I Believe (I know it's part of ME and ATC, but it really is a part onto itself.)

Between the Lines with Valerie Jackson (produced here in Atlanta GA)

My vote goes to Krista Tippett's Speaking of Faith. While I listen to nearly all of the other programs on the list, I think more about Krista's insightful program.

I agree. Krista Tippett's show should be on your list... it's on mine!
