Schnide's Mind
As the host of "Schnd's Mind", I have dedicated myself to playing music by talented new artists that has honesty and integrity, serving as a beacon of quality in an otherwise muddy sea of mediocrity. I also crack a few jokes to keep things interesting. for more go to http://web.mac.com/schnd.
You could do well as a music critic for NPR.
Check me out and let me know what you think! All opinions welcome!

Thanks! Christopher.
I have to take issue with your statement that music sales are down 20% though...it's actually CD sales that are down 20%, while iTunes store and other digital downloads are up 65%, making the overall music sales for the year go UP to almost 1.19 billion units sold in total!
You have a passion for the music that comes across, and I'd love to hear more of what you can do!
Nice Submission!

your ideas nad your music choices! Wilco! Elvis Perkins AND Busdriver. Sweet. I'm a music junkie, too.
Great great great! This guy's got some real style...very clever. Great tidbits and stories well worth listening to. I will listen to his shows as often as they come! Sometimes I feel left in the dark about new stuff to buy and listen to. It's nice to find someone who's interest is wide and can appeal to just about everybody. Well done SCHND!
Very impressive!! I loved it. I hope I get to see/hear more in the future.
A little monotone in presentation but wry enough for me to keep listening.
Cute intro with little kid's voice, but the recording quality of your voice was noticeably bad/off mic in comparison. I like contextualizing music with weighty thoughts, and the whole fake syndrome thing is kinda funny, but do you really believe that BS about there being "too many bands" out there? For a music lover, it makes you sound like quite a curmudgeon.
thanks for listening. It may sound curmudgeonly, but yes I do think that there are too many bands out there. The bottom line is there is no shortage of passion for music from its fans out there, only that the pie is sliced into much smaller pieces, thus leading to fewer blockbuster artists/albums/songs. Obviously there's not much we can do, except champion the truly talented artists out there and hope their music gets as wide of an audience as possible.
