Yes, do not regret a thing. You do have talent and we got the pleasure of hearing it.
I totally understand the second-guessing once you've posted a piece. And while these two-minutes don't do it for me personally, it's not that it's bad (not by any means). None of us know what the judges are looking for. It could very well be someone with a world of voices and production skills-- in other words, YOU. So that said, worse case scenario: you don't make it to round 2 (and I don't make it to round 2) and we've learned from it and hopefully received some decent exposure from it. But the fact is you've got the same shot as anyone else.

not so hot, voices ok, but who wld be the host, i think a mix of voices along with your regular voice wld have been better
I know that it's difficult, especially when you get negative comments, but try to remember that you uploaded what you thought was best! This contest is about finding someone new, someone with "hostiness", and if you don't make it through this round but you're really meant to be in radio, it will happen. So...chin up and be proud of yourself! You are obviously a very creative person, and you've taken a step that many people will never take. This will be a great experience for all of us who do, regardless of the outcome.
I regret putting this up there. I should have waited to come up with better. ugh.
