Hi, I have now posted a little piece of my stuff, and I do have a few more AUDIO files to share, but I guess I'm limited to the one audio entry--darn! It's not the greatest, but hey...I have fun doing it, by God! : )

There are so many great ideas here, and I wish us all great luck. Now if I could just get a great job in the field I love...RADIO.

I have worked in commercial radio as well 'behind the scenes' as a talk show producer/button pusher/board op, and that was no big thrill, let me tell you. BORING!zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The same inane blather about the same topics over and over ad infinitum....bleah!
The last commercial station I worked at was VERY conservative.
I'm possibly the biggest Liberal ever.
I really had to bite my tongue more than a few times.

Public Radio is so cool for the main reason that we have unprecedented FREEDOM!

Yes, fund raising is very necessary, it keep the stations afloat.... Only a few times a year of interrupting the normal programming.
The listeners often get bored and 'tune out'.
Ho Hum. Believe me, I have heard it from them.

No,...We will not play commercials because we want to bring them this unique programming that they are NOT getting anywhere else.

I LOVE IT!
