Sweet T -- Truth

I want people to face the truth about what's going on in America and stop hoping for a miracle, a pill, a quick fix. The antidote to many of our social ills is information -- truth.

Excellente, Neil! Loved it and you got 5 *s from me! Especially liked your opening -- being drilled with Spanish vocabulary. Best of luck -- Sally Coenen

Neal,

This was a wonderful piece. Funny, honest, and thought-provoking. You have a great radio voice in terms of timbre, but what makes your voice truly rise above the others is the the capital T-Truth behind your words.

Go get 'em!

You'd be a great new voice on public radio. Good luck.

Hey Rex! Thanks so much for the encouragement -- I really think the solutions to our significant problems have to be based on realiTy, as you say -- and a Truthfulness that seems largely lacking nowadays.
We both are California transplants! I was born in Needles and raised in Pasadena....
Your entry is outstanding, and the genuine regard some of your old friends have for you is very telling...
Good Luck!!

Yes, we need a lot more truth nowadays. Thank you for acknowledging the elephant in the living room. You have a great topic and, as a physician, an interesting perspective on it. This search has led to talent . . . yours!

Best of luck.

Here's a thank you note for your provocative entry. I lived in Athens for over 10 years. I miss my health care providers there --Dr. Kevin, Dr. Meg, Dr. Hamrick. This a thank you note to them too.

Good job! You're, ahem, just what the doctor ordered.

This means a lot coming from you -- your vocal delivery and pacing is aurally stunning, and the content is formidable. I need to study your aptitude with pauses! Thank you for the feedback.

You sounded fantastic.

I really enjoyed your voice and you pull the audience in from the start. Sounds like someone I would like to listen to!

Emily -- thanks for the kind words. Your piece is really excellent -- cleverly worded, strongly voiced, lots of personality. Is the Michael Bolton revelation true?
Anyway -- good luck with the rest of the quest.

for the encouraging comment! And while it might not exactly Michael Bolton for me, I have waaaaay more embarrasing albums that I'm still hesitant to own up to ;-) Although, admittedly, I have seen him in concert!

Great job in your piece and best of luck to you!
