There are not enough women telling women's stories on the radios. Enough with Dr. Laura and political talk shows. Check us out at www.theladiesroomwithlolis.com

I think that what is needed is a new concept in radio which could really just let the listener soak in the emotions and perspectives of women in all types of storytelling, vocally I believe that women have a greater range in the empathy dynamic and therefore are more capable of communicating effectively. This is something I stumbled across in conceptualizing and editing my entry, which can be found here:

Further I believe that a wealth of women's narrative can be found and used to create an audio tapstry of world culture and if packaged and marketed smartly could change our species for the better.

I agree with you and that influenced my decision to go with the entry that I did.

Have you ever heard the storytelling of Clarissa Pinkola Estes? Quite amazing - she builds a world around the listener.

We just have to make sure that such stories aren't simply "by, for, and about" and that both genders can find something relevant to their lives.
