Common Knowledge

As an introduction to the show that I would like to creative, I talk about what 'hostiness' and 'existentialism' have in common.

Megan,
I like your presence and voice. But I responded to your topic the most. My mom always taught me the best teachers admit when they don't know something. One of my first college professors taught me that learning begins when we accept the fact that we don't know everything.

Nice work.

I like the concept of the show, but I'm less enthused by the presentation.

Sorry, I'm not much of a fan. A lot of those "existentialism" type concepts don't seem to me to have enough content to be WORTH unpacking, IMNSHO. Plus there's a typo in the description.

I also like the concept of that show. I would certainly listen to it. I also agree with another commenter that you sounded like you were talking to me, not reading a script. So if you WERE reading, you did a fantastic job of making it sound like you weren't. And if you weren't, you're a very good thinker-on-your-feet (or at the very least, a good editor :).

And I like your voice. :)

I really like this idea. I would listen to this show, I think it is interesting and could also spin off into clever discussions."what the word meant at a specific moment" compared to common knowledge, etc. It would be a fun show. Good Job!

The basic unit, you, plus activity equals radiance.

Good voice although you could go just a bit slower. Very interesting idea that I would love to hear on the radio, and yes, you should have call-in questions to the "expert", too. I identified with your self-description: reader and want to/think I should know about many larger Ideas : art, science, social movements, linguistics, ideas, ideas, ideas...

If you were reading, I couldn't tell. Felt like you were talking to me...

I really enjoyed your entry. Very natural, doesn't sound rehearsed or read... And you've got a nice rhythm...
