Submitting more than one file

Submitted by Bill Slammon on March 7, 2007 - 10:47pm. ::

Hi there all,

Sorry if this has been addressed already. I am wondering if it is okay to submit to more than one category (talk, entertainment, music). Or, are we limited to one submission? And, do we really have to pick a category? If that's true, I'm bummed. There is so much I want to do.

Thank you.

Bill

I've already submitted an entry. But is it possible to remove it and replace it with another?

I know it's tough and the lines are kind of blurred w/ music and entertainment categories but the rules section addresses this as 1 category- 1 submission per contestant. (copied and pasted from the rules section)

3.1. TO BE AN ENTRANT:

To enter the Contest you must first register and become an Entrant, a Voter, or both
(together, “Participants”). Registration is free at www.publicradioquest.com (the "Contest
Site"). As part of the registration process, Participants will be required to accept and
agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the Terms of Use of the site, and accept the
decisions of the Judges and the Sponsor as final. Limit one (1) registration per person.
Anyone who attempts to register, or in the sole discretion of Sponsor is suspected of
registering, more than once, by any means, including but not limited to establishing
multiple e-mail accounts or Screen Names will be disqualified.

I can't find the answer to this either. Would really like clarification.

Any advice on which category to post under if we're interested in both talk and music (something like American Routes, which is music-based, but contains signfiicant opportunity for commentary, interviews, and other non-music content)?

Great questions - keep them coming.

In round one, one entry per person please.

Pick the category that you think fits your submission best. The categories are just there as a guide and an organizing tool.

If your entry is like "American Routes," I'd suggest the entertainment category.

Good luck - Izzi
