The UMass Talk Radio Club

I am starting a talk radio club at UMass Boston this fall. We are going to call local and nationally syndicated radio programs and engage the host in debate. We'll archive every time we get through on a webpage. This entry is practice.

The people will only get to rise if the get together and fight the power. A great concept to spark other action.

Well yes I did come off nervous in that piece; especially when I start talking about passing the phone around on hold. But I've pitched this idea so many times since then that I've got it down solid by now.
I had to gather signatures for the club. For the last 3 I hopped on stage at the biggest lecture hall at UMass before class started and spoke for 5 or 6 minutes about my idea and why it's important. At the end I had people getting up out of their seats to sign up. I'm getting great feedback and I'm getting better at this personally.
