I Thought I Was Going to Die

I’m a ex-newsman with a major metro who reinvents himself as a spin meister. An incarcerated member of the Mafia calls. He thinks I’m a good Catholic. Would I represent his son, just named Prisoner of the Year. I’m Jewish, I tell him. But the offer still stands: big bucks. What would you do?

What a compelling story! I can't believe you left off the ending though. I guess that's what they mean when they say "Always leave 'em wanting more," but what did you decide?

Great story, but I wish it had a payoff beyond "What would you do?"

I'm dying to hear the end of this story! You definitely got my attention, and I hope to hear the thrilling conclusion soon...
