Redding News Review: Headlines Tease
The outcome of the competition really depends on what the judges are listening for - generalist vs. specialist, a voice with a show, a voice with a perceived constituency, who knows?
But I can say that I found your 2 minutes rich with information - your presentation engaged my interest and mind, and presented a palatable range of topics, from the meaty to the light.
I will be sure to look up the Redding New Review.
Best of luck to you.
This show would be appointment listening for me. Good luck to you!

I love the work this young brother and his associates are doing. Also my daughter is a big fan of Rob's - she was an "extemp" debater too.
As an urban affairs and politics Reporter, Redding News Review is my first stop every morning on the internet and the only voice from an independent minority perspective. Given that NPR is the only independent voice on the airwaves, how could you pick anything other than RNR.
Thank you for posting on my piece. I listened to yours and thought, "are you already on radio somewhere and I've missed out on it?". Great job - very professional and also very down-to-earth, "real" sounding.
Listen to me talk.

Tell me what you think.
Redding News Review is obviously poised for bigger better things. I am confident that NPR will be just the beginning once they pick up this show. Two Thumbs up to Redding News Review!!

Keep sparking the debate that sparks dialogue.
You did an excellent job with form and content. I was very impressed. Please keep up the good work.
Solid professional work, in all respects. You don't need a contest--you need to be on the air now!
Enjoyed the professional presentation and delivery. This is exactly what I want in news delivery.
Great job.
...the flow of the broadcast, the information provided and the professional sounding quality of the way the clips are spliced together.
This sounds like it has flavor, that something extra that I think is missing from NPR.
Kept my interest all the way through, more than most. Well done. I'd like to hear it. It strikes me as important to hear.
