Radio Rorschach

This is the introduction to the first episode of the public radio show I'd like to have on NPR. The show is called "Radio Rorschach" and its purpose is, according to its tagline, to "answer the perennial question - what's really going on inside the mind of my fellow citizens?"

This is the embryo of a show that could run the gamut between funny and topical, social and scientific, intellectual and fluffy. And the host is pure NPR. I would be pleased to find this program on my dial. Great job, keep it up, and good luck!

Great title!

I can't even spell it much less pronounce it (which you did several times very well)...! Very nice voice and who hasn't wondered what everyone else in the subway is thinking and pondered further about "what if" to mix it up.

Good job. Good luck.

Wow. Super cool entry. I love that droning sound in the background. (What is that?) It sounded the perfect doom and gloom note to back up your subject matter. Geez, even Rorsach tests seem pretty eerie to me (I am sure my psychologist friend would have an opinion about that). While your entry left me wondering who your guests would be and how you would pick their stories, I don't think those details really matter for this round. What does matter, and what you did extremely well, is demonstrating that you would be a great host. I really like your tone. It is extremely listenable: smooth, but not too polished. There is a slight "curl," I'll call it, that hints at your inteligence behind the pretty voice. So, really well done. I obviously enjoyed it. Can't wait to hear the whole show.

It was a voice that I'd like to get to know better. Your theme brought me back to my kid-on-the-way-to-school commuter fantasies - how entertaining and involving they could be. There's a connection there to radio entertainment - the amusing voices inside our heads... Anyway, best of luck! P.S. - give mine a listen, won't you?

You have just asked the question we here at the Quest have been trying to ask "what's really going on in the mind[s] of my fellow citizens." Fantastic!! Of course our next question is how do I find out and strike a cord that gets them to tell me. You may just get it done. Here's hoping you do, keep up the good work.

Now get to "A Central Place To Plug My Spot" http://www.publicradioquest.com/node/1171 and post your entry so everyone can listen.

I love your idea and mixed with your sound effect its an interesting and hilarious 2 minutes.

Depending which CTA (Chicago) line I am on, if I am not distracted by the smell (Red & Green lines), I generally day-dream about "Being Great" and how I will travel the world.

But I don't think that the point of this is to pitch a show. Despite that, your delivery was great and and I thought that you sounded very inviting. This clip does give me faith in your ability to host, so, an easy four stars! Good luck lady.

This is one of the best entries I've come across so far. Intelligent, universal and incredibly entertaining! I'd tune in to this program. Congrats and good luck!

What a great line. Well done, Sarah. You sound hosty as all get-out.

Sarah! What a great, fresh voice in this competition. You have a lot of talent and personality, and a creepy, warped mind. Okay, that's just me nervous that you might be on my train as I type this. Good luck!

and yet there is something undeniable about your hostiness.

I just don't know how far you can go with this very very fresh idea to think about.

Would love talking to you more.

Oh, and the porduction value was top notch, that background music was spot on for giving the exact feel of mystery.
