Rebuilding the talk show format - and rebuilding the American Dream

My hope would be to rebuild the talk show format to allow a two-sided dialogue and a two sided understanding of issues. Hopefully this would allow a new understanding of the public dialogue in America.

Your passion, entertaining manner and humor had me in the get-go. And then you just kept getting smarter and wittier and deeper.

Keep talking I'm listening.

I agree NPR should be informative and entertaining through the use of dialogue and facts. I'm proposing a forum to improve healthcare delivery through patient and doctor communications. Too many patients with systemic inflammatory diseases are left to fend for themselves because specialists either can't or won't diagnose and treat illness without knowing what other specialists found. Doctors don't talk to each other. They just file reports loosely written to avoid patient insurance cancellation with the internist who is supposed to piece the whole thing together for $90 and risk malpractice if he's wrong. I totally agree with your comment on increasing imagination (among others)... Audio drama is a way - but we don't see much of it on any station format (other than satellite)

All the best!

Excellent submission... I get a taste of your sense of humor... and I get a sense of a man with life experience to go along with education and refinement.

So, what do you teach?

o.k. you're in the running now... so, fill out your bio, and switch on your contact option, so the judges know you are for real.
