St. Patrick's Day

I have a podcast called The Seanachai (Gaelic: storyteller). http://www.theseanachai.com. It’s either tell an original story or the story behind an actual event. In 2005 I did a new episode weekly. (I’ve since slowed a little) This is from a St. Patrick's day episode.

This man is a genius with words. If you don't listen to his podcasts, then you should start to. He is a great storyteller and writer. He knows just what to say. He always adds humor to his writing, keeping it moving. Everyone should vote for him!!!

You're very soothing to listen to. The sound effects placed me in the context of the story, and you weren't afraid to mix in a little humor along with the more serious storytelling. Accents were marvelous. You have much going for you... and your entry.

Hey I'm Irish and I like it, but can you reach a broader audience? I've never listened to your Podcast so I don't know.

That said, I went after a bunch of John Prine nuts. Actually, it's my vehicle to play radio host, but I'd do it if I could pull it off. Listen up.

Great storytelling and scenic background of these Gaelic stories. It feels you're at the shores or at the pub. Wonderfully done.

I think you really have an NPR type voice. Strong, yet soothing. And the accent was fun to listen to.

I've heard this before and I still listened to the whole thing - and was sorry when it faded out.

When Partick gets his radio spot, that would be the only reason for me to get my radio set from basement, and put my podcasting feeds on pause.

Patrick has a talent and work ethic that makes each podcast he produces brim with creativity and whit. From vampires in the attic to evil efficiency consultants, Patrick's stories are original and memorable. The mini-essay pieces on Saint Patrick's Day and on generating ideas in "Lather, rinse, repeat" are insightful and entertaining.

I always look forward to downloading the next piece.

I've listened to everything he's published. Whether fictional or editorial comment, every cast is enthralling. I am equally thrilled to discover he has posted one of his thought-provoking essays, as well as an amusing story. I have learned so much from him!
In addition to being sharp of wit, entertaining and informative, his speaking voice is sublime. What more could you want?
I'd even follow this guy to Fox News, but NPR? That's a no brainer. I would go back to donating every year and leaving my actual radio on, set to NPR. He'd even make those fund-raising drives a pleasure to listen to!
Just hire him. You will not regret it.
