Some Music For PRTQ!

Submitted by ursabear on May 4, 2007 - 6:12pm. ::

Hello everyone! I've really enjoyed the experience with the Public Radio Talent Quest.

I wanted to say "thank you" by sharing some of my music with you. I've got the tunes listed here for your perusal and pleasure. Enjoy!

The first tune on the web page is an folk impressionistic acoustic guitar instrumental created just for the PRTQ folks! I put a lot of soul into that tune - and have left it largely unedited or "cleaned up" (except for cutting out the part where the phone started ringing while I was recording... :-)). I wanted to share my emotions with you.

The second tune is jazzy, electric, and smooth. The third tune is rockin', visceral, and very emotional.

Thanks to everyone! I hope you find something you like...

A bump for the last-minute-up-to-the-deadline folks, and those who are just hanging out on the final day of round 1 submissions...

Jimmy, you can't know how appropriate your music is to me, today.

All day long random rumblings of thunder have announced that something is coming, but there's been nothing - until a few minutes ago, when raindrops as fat as spring bees full of pollen started banging against my windows.

I wish I had the gift of music (I don't - that gift missed me by a mile) - but I'm glad you're here to share yours. Thank you.

:-) Linda...

I love the comparison with spring bees full of pollen...

When Laura (girl cub) was little, spring bees were "bumby bummmmms."

I'm glad to share my sounds. It makes me happy.

I couldn't resist. After many listens in the car to and from work, I needed to make a small change to the acoustic bass and a small change to the lead (centered) acoustic guitar.

I hope you folks enjoy it. :-)
