The intro is catchy. I'm an avid collector and want to hear more of the show. We need to have an "Antiques Roadshow" style radio program. Bring it on!

Hi

Thanks for your support ... that is what we would like to present ... we can actually tell people what their items are worth over the phone on the air ... it is fun and exciting ... there are winners and losers, but everyone learns.

Please spread the word about our show.

Great intro! I want to hear more of the show. NPR radio needs a show like this. The collectors of the world need an avenue to tune in to. A+

Thank you for your encouragement ... the program is designed to satisfy the need for all niches and genres of collecting which is a completely underserved market.

Tell your friends to vote too.

Preserving, sharing and passing on historical pieces is great. However, I would like to have heard more on how the show would operate than the music.

Hi
Getting 2 minutes to showcase a concept is unrealistic, especially when the concept covers hundreds of thousands of topics and appeals to millions of listener's interests ... I hope that the intro conveys the variety and fun of the show ... we aired the program for many years on several networks to great response from listeners ... the call-in "psychic appraisals" can't be showcased in 2 minutes ... they are mind boggling and people are always thrilled by them.
Thanks for your support ... tell your friends.

The Intro/Opening you hear was produced to convey the fun of the show and the many of the subjects we discuss ... it also features IDs by Marty Kroft, Johnny Whitaker, Butch Patrick and others who have been guests on the program which comes from our real show we produced for 6 years ... we intelligently and humorously discuss the passions and profits of the Collecting worlds, yet difficult to paint that picture in two minutes of verbiage ... but I tried ... thanks for listening and commenting.

so would I call in and describe my objects for you to appraise? Is that how this works?

Submitted by Gary Sohmers on May 12, 2007 - 9:44pm.

Hi ... we would have guests who are experts in different niches on the program who can answer callers and emailers questions along with generalists who know the values of a variety of subjects ... I personally know the value of 100,000 useless objects ... if you can describe it we can educate you about the item and give you an idea of value ... we will also preview auctions and give reference info to help people with their "stuff."
Thanks for listening and commenting.

Everyone collects something, though they may not even realize it. One can find sports shows, news and talk radio shows and every genre of music shows, but not one collectors show. This show is all of the above rolled into one. Bravo!

Submitted by Gary Sohmers on May 7, 2007 - 9:15pm.

Yes and I think we have one of each in our place ... we can find whatever anyone is looking for ... 5 minutes after you leave ... especially if you are never coming back ... what a team we are .... Thanks for all of your support.

Thanks for checking out my demo ... Cars are very expensive toys and many people collect cars for many reasons ... the best car collector events are in Hershey and Carlisle PA.

I wanted to hear more of you and the highlights of your show than the music and lead in. Fifty seconds of lead in was too much. The topic sounds interesting though if we ever got to it.

You may be correct about that, but the intro conveys the fun and some of the subjects the program covers ... it would be nice to have more time for an audtion tape, but ya gets what ya gets ... thanks for listening and commenting.
