Happy and Thad - simultaneous hosts duel for your mood.

These are excerpts from our podcast: part Fresh Air, part Car Talk, part Howard Stern ... just before it's gets predictably high brow in that old public radio way, we're gonna shock ya. So make us a deal. If you laugh by the end of it, then vote five stars. If not then we'll buy you an ice cream.

Sounds like a high society Redneck Rampage Radio show. If you are just part Howard Stern...then we're Howard Stern meets Hee Haw.

Nice job boys!

Funny, fresh, and original...not so easy these days!

I really enjoyed the voices here. I got a true sense of your personality (both actually) and love being able to laugh while learning. Nice job!

Submitted by mdcohen on May 10, 2007 - 7:56pm.

that's it, really. it's just way better than "cats."

Submitted by Lkirchner on May 9, 2007 - 3:28pm.

I like the contrast between your two voices & personalities. Add some catchy music and I would definitely listen to the whole show. Keep it up!

I laughed and I cried, and I laughed until I cried. But seriously, jolly good work. Thad, will you marry me?

I had no idea Chopin could play guitar on the piano, or that he was Polish... I do think that you need a jingle though.

Very funny. But Thad is right, you do need a jingle. Can't wait to hear more!

How about this: I give you four stars and you buy me dippin dots.

But, maybe you'd be interested in this: I give you five stars, you buy me dippin dots.... for life.

Believe me guys: ice cream is old NPR. Daniel Schorr eats ice cream.

Thank you. And: Persevere.

This is the point of dippin dots, I am realizing. Unlike say moving walkways or cars with cd players, dipping dots will never be overcome into the hum drum present. Along with perhaps the gray jumpsuit with the red v stripe, they are as futuristic as you get.

Submitted by Pete Moore on May 8, 2007 - 3:46pm.

Seriously, at what point does Dippin' Dots become the ice cream of the present? It's madness.

Submitted by Alex Goldmark on May 8, 2007 - 9:09am.

Intriguing offer and good point on Dippin' Dots. Please see the very first comment at bottom of page titled: 'NOTE' re: ice cream buying.

Good job Alex,
looking forward to the next installment and/or a chance to hear the whole show!

If the criteria was whether I laughed and enjoyed it, then I did.

There is something sublimely audacious about an eleven-pointer that uploads a picture of their self. You gotta love it.

There is something sublimely audacious about a 3069 pointer that starts harpen' on someone that he doesn't know and therefore is not apt to judge.

And for the record, I don't have to love it.

I am the Walrus. My personal existence is forged by my actions (& large tusk), and all I can do is act like a sensible and civil human being towards others. Coo-coo-cachou.

As an 11-pointer myself, I can only hope that I might one day attain the level of wisdom and clarity of mind required to draft such an insightful comment. Presumably, by posting a multitude of witless comments, I will one day accumulate 3069 points, and the respect and acceptance that I so acutely desire.

We will not actually buy you any ice cream.

Submitted by elissetche on May 8, 2007 - 2:37pm.

Bummer. Will you at least spring for some sugar cones?
