128 kbps is the quality

128 kbps is the quality level of your audio file. larger kbps files take up too much memory to move around the NPR website efficiently, and the amount "Better" they sound is negligible for the purpose of the contest- So the website blocks any attempts to upload higher quality large files.

what program are you using to make your audio file? see if you can render or save it as an mp3 file at a rate of 128kbps there.
