Career Matters

Career Matters is all about the world of work, including choosing a profession, finding a job you love, changing occupations, employment law, etc. As a professional resume writer, I've amassed a long list of experts in this field to interview and answer your questions about your life's work.

Susan,

I hope that you continue with your goal of hosting this radio program. Most people I work with do not have an inside expert to provide tips and ideas about how to function at their best while at work. After I write their resumes, I'd love to be able to direct job seekers to your program for ongoing career guidance.

Best of luck!

This is an interesting subject I would never have thought of applied to a radio show, but now that you mention it, I can DEFinitely see it appealing to a Public Radio crowd. The fact that you do such things for a living is quite a sell, and if you could end up interviewing high-end professionals to find out what they look for in an applicant...yeah, this could be quite popular!
A really fine and clever entry! Good luck!

When Susan approached me to participate in this project, I knew she was the perfect person to pull it off. Her background in the media as a television and radio show producer, in addition to her vast knowledge of the careers industry, makes Susan so valuable to public radio. She has "been there, done that," and she is the utmost professional.

Her voice is also very soothing, which will put job search candidates at ease and help reduce their stress during a critical time in their lives.

As a member of many career-related professional associations, (and I know you are as well), you will represent the careers industry with the grace, style, and in-depth knowledge you possess...not to mention the exceptional information you will impart on your listeners! I can't wait to listen to your show!
Good luck! =)

Great show idea....infact, same as mine (although, I cover lots more than just the job search).

I wish you all the best. Let's talk offline, I'd like to possibly have you on my Internet show.

You've got a great voice. Friendly...approachable...there's a definate hostiness quality. But I'm not sure about the show idea. It sounds as though it should be broadcast on a brokered radio station.
