The Fine Print

I’m a writer.“The Fine Print” is motivated by a desire to overcome the seemingly impenetrable fortress of rejection unknowns deal with. Writers write for readers(and listeners), not editors.Being unknown should not be a barrier. The show is a platform for my anonymous writing family.

Your concept for the show is so strong. And that funny wrap up really kept me engaged. Nice work.

As an unpublished writer, I would welcome an honest critique. Giving writers a chance to hear from a pro is a great idea and would get my interest. Good luck!

william, in the words of sean connery, i gave you "full marks for that one". i agree that radio is the perfect place for a writer's version of american idol, etc.

i hope we both win and can have back to back shows.

I'd love to hear a show like this on NPR. And your voice was perfect for it. Great entry!

how ironic would it be, if this idea of yours gets rejected???

Here's wishing for sake that it doesn't.

I’ve come to see that the ultimate source of all human anguish is that we are finite beings sentient of infinity.

William, it sounds like you've given this show a lot of thought, so I'm impressed. This program would be a refreshing change from business as usual, and I would tune in.

Good luck.

You don't even have to be a writer to know a thing or two about getting the boot. Your show has a universal theme that will, no doubt, appeal to a wider audience.

This is a fantastic idea that would also translate well on-line. Nice work.

All writers understand rejection. Good writers learn from it. This is a show that writers will listen to, as well as aspiring writers and I hope a few editors, also. It's a great idea and I hope to be able to tune in someday.

The writing is excellent. I've spent time in the chair as an (evil) editor, so I know good copy when I see it, or in this case, hear it. Great tag line, too.

Good luck!
